With all the buzz about liver and gallbladder health lately, I’m excited to share a simple and effective cleanse! This easy-to-follow cleanse is designed to help flush out toxins from your liver and tackle gallstones in your gallbladder. Best of all, it’s budget-friendly and you probably have everything you need right in your kitchen!

To begin a basic liver cleanse, you’ll need the following:
• Apple cider vinegar, or malic acid supplements
• 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts
• 1/2 cup of virgin olive oil
• 1 large grapefruit or 3 lemons
Instructions
Preparation (Days 1-5): For 4-5 days before the liver flush, consume plenty of apples or drink apple cider frequently. Alternatively, you can take malic acid supplements if juice isn’t an option. On the last two days, drink 8 ounces of apple cider every 2-3 hours to prepare your liver for the cleanse.
Day 6 - Morning: Have a light, fat-free breakfast. This will allow bile to build up in your liver, creating pressure that will help expel more stones.
Day 6 - Afternoon: At 2:00 PM, mix 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts with 3 cups of water in a jar. Refrigerate the mixture. Do not eat or drink anything after 2:00 PM.
Day 6 - Evening: At 6:00 PM, drink 3/4 cup of the Epsom salt mixture. The taste isn’t great, but you can add a dash of lemon to improve it.
At 8:00 PM, drink another 3/4 cup of the Epsom salt mixture. Afterward, prepare for the liver flush by finishing any tasks—you should be resting after this point.
Liver Flush (10:00 PM): At 9:45 PM, combine 1/2 cup of virgin olive oil and the juice of the grapefruit (or lemons) in a jar. Shake well until fully mixed. At 10:00 PM, drink the mixture quickly, within 5 minutes if possible. You can use a large straw if it helps.
Immediately after drinking, lie down in bed. This is critical. Lie on your right side with your right knee pulled up toward your chest for about 20 minutes. Stay still and try to sleep.
Next Morning: Upon waking, drink a third dose of the Epsom salt mixture. You may go back to sleep afterward.
Two hours later, take your final dose of Epsom salts.
After another two hours, you can start eating again, but begin with liquids, soups and gradually move to solid fruits.
The flush may be repeated every 2-3 months to fully rid the gallbladder of stones.
